It’s been a while since we shared any news — time to change that.

The development of the next update is in full swing. At this point, we’ve already passed the halfway mark of the content we’ve planned, and we’re not planning to slow down. The estimated release date is between July 15–20.

The update will be just as large as the previous one. However, this time there will be more content in the real world than in the fantasy world. Also, several important new features will be introduced that will change the gameplay and finally bring it closer to what we envisioned from the very beginning — freedom.

Yes, our plan was always to make the game a sandbox, with free movement across the map. But why didn’t we implement this from the start? Because throwing players into an open world right away would kill all motivation to explore. That’s why we’ve been building it up gradually — increasing the number of actions and available options over time. We believe this approach worked much better than if we had dumped an open world into the game right after a short intro. Let’s be honest: you wouldn’t have been as excited to dive into the game if you’d been immediately overwhelmed with tons of locations you could visit. So we did it the way we thought best.

In the real-world section, we’ll be introducing a character log, a quest menu (with info on current objectives), and a gallery menu (hopefully — we’re still working on it). If time allows, we’ll also be adding an inventory system to the fantasy world, but that’s still tentative.

On top of that, a few full animations will be added to the game. Some will appear in existing content, while others will be part of new scenes. We hope you’ll enjoy them.

There may be more coming — honestly, we’ve already lost track of everything we’ve prepared for the next update. So you’ll just have to discover the rest in-game 😉

Either way, the upcoming content promises to be exciting, and the wait is almost over. Release: July 15–20. Once the new version is out, the current one will become available to everyone.
